Friday
Friday was kind of crazy because I had school but I also had a concert in Kansas City later that night. School went fine...didn't do much in classes. I had to get ready quickly for my concert and I had to pack for spending the night at Kelsi's house. Kaeli had offered a girl from Cottey a ride up to the airport (since we were already headed that way), so we drove the girl to the MCI airport, stopped at Chipolte for something to eat, then went to the Starlight Theatre to see Augustana, Counting Crows, and Maroon 5. We were kinda sad because we thought the concert had started at 7:30 but it started at 7. By the time we got there, Augustana had played all but 2 of their songs, so we missed out on that. Counting Crows were good, although I've only heard a few of their songs. Maroon 5 (the main reason why we went to the concert) was AMAZING. Absolutely fabulous! They sounded as good--if not better--as they do on their albums. Anyways, we didn't get out of the concert until 11:30 and we had to drive up to St. Joe to stay with Kelsi and her family. By the time we got there and got settled in it was 2:30am, so needless to say, we were pretty darn tired.
Saturday
We got up around 9ish, but didn't end up leaving Kelsi's house until 11:30 or so. It was so amazing to see her family again. Her mom and dad were there, along with her boyfriend, Adam. I was kind of sad that we didn't get to spend much time with them, but Kaeli wanted to leave early to go shopping in Kansas City, and since she was the driver, we left relatively early. We drove back down to Kansas City and went to Zona Rosa. First we went to get movie tickets (we saw Lakeview Terrace which was surprisingly really good!), then we went to this frozen custard place that was very yummy! After the movie, we walked around Zona Rosa shopping centers. Kaeli wanted to go to Forever 21, so we spent some time in there, and I wanted to go to Barnes and Noble. It was a really nice B&N...it was even two stories! I bought this book, but I haven't started reading it yet. I think it's an interesting story though, especially since it's a memoir. After B&N, we decided we were tired so we headed on back to Cottey. We didn't get back until 7:30ish, though. Once I got back, I hung out with Tiffany at work and we watched Big Trouble...man, I love that movie! After that we just hung out for awhile, then eventually I made my way over to bed.
Sunday
Woke up early because I had to be at work by 9am. Worked for an hour, then decided that I was still sleepy, so I went back to bed. I must have been really sleepy, because I didn't wake up again until noon. When I woke up a second time, I decided it was time for a change. So I did something crazy...
I know this isn't the best picture, and it's the only one I have so far but I'm sure more will come. Click here.
All I'm going to say is it's a big change but I love it! I'm so glad I finally did it...and more pictures will be coming!
