The first band that opened, Hey Monday, is the newest of them all. They're pretty good, and one guy (the one in the yellow shirt in this video) is really cute.
Carolina Liar- I'm Not Over
The next band, We the Kings, was pretty awesome as well. I thought the lead singer was pretty funny. He told the crowd that he started a foundation to "Save the Redheads" and my friend, Miekel, was all excited about that (she's a natural redhead). So, I can't directly post the video, but if you click here you can watch the video for "Check Yes Juliet" which is probably their most famous song.
Hey Monday- Homecoming
The second band, Carolina Liar, might be a little bit more recognizable. If you're a fan of Gossip Girl (Kristyna...) or a fan of The Hills (Nana...) then you might have heard this song before. They're an amazing group, and a bunch of really cool guys. They're from Sweden so they have cute foreign accents. Last night I got to meet them, and they're just all very sweet (and funny!).

The last, and headlining, band was The Academy Is.... They were absolutely amazing! The lead singer is hot (that's always a bonus) but their music is fantastic. They were so energetic and they definitely kept me entertained. The lead singer, William, would play with the mic stand or swing the microphone around and it was always interesting to see what kind of tricks he'd do while singing. At one point he crawled on top of the speakers (which I happened to be standing right by) and start singing which was AWESOME. Anyways, here's their latest video:
The Academy Is...- About A Girl
(P.S. I love this video and think it's so cute!)
I'll be posting pictures as soon as I get them from the group of us that went. It was funny because originally just Kaeli and I were going, but then I found out a couple of my other friends, Miekel and Laura and a few other girls, were going too. We ended up following each other to the show and dancing together...fun times, fun times.
