Last night, Kaeli, me, and this girl Taylor went to a show in Kansas City and it was so much fun! The bands that played were Sing It Loud, Hit the Lights, Forever the Sickest Kids, and Cobra Starship. My favorite two were the most well-known bands, Forever the Sickest Kids and Cobra Starship. Cobra was the best out of them all. Their songs were so much fun to dance to and the crowd was incredible. It was kind of weird, because I had never been to that kind of show--there was moshing and crowd-surfing and that kind of stuff. It was in this really small venue, called the Beaumont Club, and even though it was incredibly cramped, it was nice to be able to be five feet from the bands. Anyways, I posted some links for my two favorite bands from the evening:
This song has a whole dance that goes with it...it was so much fun to just dance around in the crowd, everyone doing the same thing:
Warning: bad language, but it's a fun song. One of my favorites from the concert, for sure:
Cobra Starship- The City is at WarAfter the concert, Kaeli was talking to a guy she knows that's the guitar tech for this band, and the whole band was just hanging out with fans and stuff. It's just really cool seeing a band mingling with fans...anywhos, this is my favorite song from them:
I have decided that I absolutely love Cobra Starship. The lead singer, Gabe, is really cute, but, well...let's just say he's not exactly the brightest crayon in the box. Actually, he dresses REALLY bright, so maybe that's not a good analogy. He's not the sharpest pencil in the box. Yeah, that'll work.
So, anyways, that was my Sunday. This weekend was "C" For Yourself and we had a perspective stay in the suite. She was from AZ as well and goes to Mountain View High School. I think there must be a strong P.E.O. connection to Mountain View, because there were a few perspectives from that high school to visit. She got here Friday night and left Sunday...but yeah, that was fun.
Saturday was Tiffany's birthday, and her birthday wish was to gain 40 pounds in one weekend. We went to Wal-Mart and literally bought pounds of candy...most of it is already gone. Unfortunately and fortunately, she didn't gain those 40 pounds. But we rented Sex and the City, Nim's Island, and Step Up 2. We've only watched the first one, so far though.
Anyways...um, let's see...not much else to update anyone on. I'm currently eating Jelly Bellies...yum. Yeah, that's the most recent update I can give, because I'm literally doing that as I type this.
Hope everyone is doing well! Miss and love you all!

Moshing? What is that? Is that like "mashing" potatoes?

That's what moshing is. Basically, a whole bunch of people pushing each other around in circles. It's weird.
