Scary.

So, I've been following this story about Ryan Jenkins, a former contestant on some sleezy Vh1 reality show, and the murder of his ex-wife. A little bit ago, Jasmine Fiore was found dead, stuffed into a suitcase with fingers and teeth missing. Jenkins went from being a person of interest to the main suspect.

Apparently, the d-bag fled on foot to Canada, but then he was just recently found dead--they haven't confirmed the cause of death, but things are pointing to suicide.

The thing that's freaky is that he was a contestant on Megan Wants a Millionaire. I know that Vh1 has lost any sense of class--so brilliantly exemplified by the nasty Flavor of Love, Rock of Love and any show involving "New York"--but allowing someone to be on national television that's capable of murder? Nay, not just capable, but actually commiting the crime. Have they ever heard of background checks? I'm sure someone that could commit such a horrendous crime probably already has a rap sheet. I guess that Vh1 is so desparate to appeal to the toothless, Springer-loving, Wal-Mart is considered high class demographic that they would allow anyone to be on their horrible shows. But seriously, Vh1, this is just wrong.

The whole story is scary, and I kind of feel bad for whoever this Megan chick is who wants a millionaire. And was Ryan Jenkins really a millionaire? I doubt it. I know money corrupts, but really...
