There's hope!

There's speculation that Miley Cyrus is dating her new costar from The Last Song, Liam Hemsworth. The Australian newcomer was spotted kissing Cyrus at the Tennessee airport before his departure.

He's pretty hot, but there's not much known about him. He's foreign and gorgeous, which is kind of enough for me--although, he's only 18. Which brings me to my headline:

There's actual hope for Miley's personal life! She's finally setting her sights (apparently) on someone her own age, which is a plus 1 for her. Also, hopefully this means she's retracted her hoe-claws out of poor little Nick Jonas and is possibly leaving the kid alone. Another plus 1 for the stripper-in-training. Also, gotta give her a plus 1 for (once again, apparently...none of this has been confirmed) getting rid of creeper Justin Gaston. The guy was cute, but just way too much. He was too old for a 16 year old, he was too obsessed with her after they broke up, and he was being way too obvious that he was banking on his relationship with her to start his own career. Nothing worse than coattail-riders.

In the end, Miley has earned a total of plus 3--which brings her grand total of -3582 in the game of life. Every fail is a minus, and trust that Miley has had many fails.

Granted, I have no idea how she is when you actually know her. She might be the sweetest person on earth and I'd want to thank my lucky stars for knowing her--but I don't know her. I just know the public image that she projects, and that public image is in the red right now. The risque pictures, the stripper pole dance at the TEEN Choice Awards, the relationship Justin Gaston...we've all been witness to her public-image fails. Also, I subtract points for her voice. I know the girl can't help it, but her voice just really rubs me the wrong way--she sounds like she's been smoking since she came out of the womb. It's just really obnoxious coming from her.

I've spent too much time on Miley now. But this just makes me happy because, most important to me, is that this means Nick is (hopefully) unattached! Granted, the boy is jailbait for me, but he's just too cute for words. His heart has obviously been broken quite of bit, and I bet some of that was due to Miley. I just think she's a horrible match for him...he needs someone better, that lives the way that he lives. He obviously is very concerned with his image and living clean, and that doesn't seem to be on the list of priorities for Miley.

American Idol just got so much better.

So I know that Paula is no longer on American Idol (as of right now. My money is on a "reconciliation" between AI and Paula), some interesting guest judges have been brought on to fill her place.

Among them (and probably my favorite) is going to be none other than Joe Jonas! I cannot wait to see him on the show! I do feel sorry for the girls and guys who audition while Joe is sitting in, however. It's probably nerve-wrecking to sing in front of some of the highest paid people in the music industry, but adding someone that's world famous and gorgeous!? That would just be too much for me.

New Everything.

So it's been forever since I've updated...that's probably because most of the people who read this, I am now at home with so I don't necessarily have to keep a blog to keep them updated.

Which leads me to my whole point. Now, this blog will be MINE. I'm not going to keep it updated for my family, but I'll just post things, ideas, pictures, etc. that I want to post about. So yeah, like the heading says, new everything.

Also, there's a new layout. Major love for the JoBros, especially now. It's been nearly a week since the concert, but it still feels like it was yesterday. They gave such a great performance!
