Hola!

Another day, and it's a little warmer. It was snowing the other day, and classes got canceled (woot!). I've somehow managed to luck out, because before I got to Cottey they told me "Cottey hasn't had a snow day in over 25 years." Well, last year I had one, and this year I had another one. Global warming, anyone? I think so!

Not much is going on in this neighborhood. Just chillaxin' in my awesome new room. The man wall is still a work in progress (and will be for awhile, I fear). Once I get that up, however, I'll finish taking pictures of the room and post them up here.

So here's something interesting that I never thought I'd find myself thinking, let alone actually saying it out loud. I'm surprisingly enjoying my science class. It's one thing to sit in lecture for three days out of the week, writing word after word that's too freakin' long with six constants in a row and that barely look like words at all. It's a whole other thing to actually see the stuff we've been talking about under a microscope and seeing it all in action. That's the part I enjoy. It's like I don't really understand what all we're talking about until I do the lab...THEN I get it. Crazy though, right?

What else, what else...this weekend I'm going to Joplin with Laura, Ginny, Rachel (Laura's roommate), and Becky (mine and Rachel's friend, and my old suitemate). It'll be nice to get out of Nevada, even though we've only been here a few weeks. Trust me, a few weeks is a few weeks too many, sometimes. I don't think I'll be shopping for anything, but I do want to go to Target and just walk around. I want to go to Starbucks, and we might go to Panera Bread Company (it's kind of like a mixture between Paradise Bakery and Wildflower Bread Company...come to think of it, it might be like a sister-store to Wildflower). At some point this weekend, I'm going to see a movie with Stephanie (because we realized we haven't ever actually hung out with each other outside of class...crazy, right!? Although, she always seems to be working at the movie theatre when I'm there).

Um, nothing else new and exciting to update anyone on. I've been feeling really creative lately so I might make a new layout for the blog...although, I am very attached to the one now. RPatz (as my friends and I call him...aka Robert Pattinson) looks amazing in his pictures. Maybe I'll just make a new layout just using pictures of him. I'm not a creeper, I'm not a creeper...although, don't crazy people say they're not crazy? Okay...I AM a creeper, I AM a creeper...haha just kidding.
